Veneered Oak jambs are a more cost effective price point and go great with our Oak door inventory. The frame material is wood core and wrapped in a Red Oak Veneer to save money, however it does not stand up to extreme elements as Solid Jambs do. This jamb does require an overhang. Use of veneered jambs is recommended only in a Fully Protected Doorway.
Reeb Finish
This jamb species cannot be finished by Reeb Finish.
Layouts
Veneered Oak jambs can be used with single doors, double doors, doors with one sidelite and doors with two sidelites.
Depths
The veneered oak jamb is only available as standard 4-9/16” and 6-9/16” jambs. This jamb cannot be trimmed to other sizes.
Lengths
All standard heights are available for this type of frame.
Exterior Casing
Brickmould is available as an exterior trim in a matching material. The Brickmould will be 2” in width.
