Double Action Hinges allow for the door to open in either direction and automatically return to a closed position.
Reeb stocks the jamb mount double action hinge in two models. Both models are only available in a US3 finish.
- The DAH5B model can be applied to 1-3/8″ thick doors. The hinge is 3-1/2″ on the door mount side and 4-1/2″ on the jamb mount side.
- The DAH6B model can be applied to 1-3/4″ thick doors. The hinge is 4-1/2″ on the door mount side and 5-1/2″ on the jamb mount side.
Hinge Locations
From top of door to top of the first hinge and between the two top hinges, there’s a 3” space recommended. In addition, a 7” maximum is recommended from the bottom of the slab to the bottom of the bottom hinge.
