Cavity Slider Frame Kits are designed for 2×4 and 2×6 framing with options accommodating door panels up to 5’ wide by 10’ high.  The frames offer field cut‑down capability (width and height) and pair with high-quality Carriage Packs (options handling up to 500lbs.) coupled with CS SofStop® soft close / soft open options.

CL 400 Series Magnetic Pocket Door handles are also recommended, as are Stain-grade poplar CS Jamb Kits for 2×4 framing selections.

Cavity Slider Frames

When ordering a CS Cavity Slider frame kit, first determine your stud size: 4″ Framing (2×4 Stud) or 6″ Framing (2×6 Stud).

Then select the frame that most closely matches your door slab size (frame size must be as large or larger than door size). Select two frame kits for bi-parting units.

Frames can be trimmed on-site (height and width). Reference the extrusion cut length guidelines provided on Cavity Sliders website for both the 4” and the 6” frame kits.

Carriage Packs including Soft Close/Open Options

Carriage packs are an essential and necessary component to order along with your Cavity Slider Pocket Door frame kit.

CS Carriages feature large-diameter wheels and precision ground bearings that ensure smooth, durable performance over time. The self-centering hanger bolt guarantees that your door hangs perfectly plumb. High-performance nylon tires offer a quiet, effortless glide, making even the heaviest doors easy to move.

CS Mounting Plates are designed for convenience and efficiency, incorporating the innovative CarriSnap™ quick-release system. This system allows for the rapid installation or removal of doors from the carriage without altering the door height adjustment, streamlining maintenance and reducing downtime.

For standard operation, select M6 (Door Weight: up to 200lb/90kg) or M8 (Door Weight: up to 500lb/240kg) carriages. Additionally, carriage packs incorporating the SofStop soft close/soft open feature(s) are also available. Designed to work with doors as narrow as 23 inches and as heavy as 350 pounds, the SofStop mechanism delivers unmatched reliability.

CL 400 Magnetic Handles

The CL 400 Series Magnetic Pocket Door handles are a great match for your pocket door unit. They are offered in both passage and privacy options, and in both Satin Nickel and Matte Black.

CL 400 Passage Option
CL 400 Privacy Option

Privacy handles include a sliding lever mechanism called a “snib.” The snib is to be installed towards the room or area where the homeowner desires their privacy. The snib engages the locking mechanism of the handle.

On the opposite face of the handleset exists a small, slotted emergency release mechanism. The “emergency” side of the handleset typically faces towards the “outside” of the private room.

When ordering a CL400 Privacy option, the snib’s handing specification is determined by directly facing the pocket and the edge of the operating panel.

If your private room is towards your left – you desire a left hand snib. If your private room is to your right, you would then desire a right hand snib.

CS Jamb Kits

The CS Jamb Kit™ simplifies pocket door finishing with a ready-to-install solution.

Made from stain-grade poplar, it features pre-drilled holes and a grooved design ready for CS Trim Clips. With no prep work required, the CS Jamb Kit streamlines installation, saving you valuable time.

Currently, these jambs are only available for 2×4 framing, with options for both 4-9/16″ and 4-7/8″ walls.
