A Therma-Tru Public Access Sill is an aluminum construction to resist corrosion. The sill is only 1/2″ high with a 1:2 ramp slope to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. The sill also features a thermal break which helps to maintain the temperature of the interior side of the sill. Public access sills are able to be used for either an inswing or outswing application. It is recommended that all outswing units use NRP hinges. The standard Rough Opening height for a 6/8 inswing unit is 81-1/2″.
