Molded Doors

Molded doors are an economical option for interior doors. They and constructed when a series of panels or design is stamped by a mold into a hardboard fiber material to create the door face. They are manufactured to resemble the look of an interior stile and rail wood doors. Each door model has a specific panel type, sticking type, and surface.


Core Options

There are two different core options.

Solid Particle Core (SC)

Weight and feel of a wood door; Reduces sound transmission; Stocked with a single-bottom rail and wood stiles and rails for screw holding power; Can have up to 20 minute fire-rating


Hollow Core (HC)

Standard offering includes wood stiles for added screw holding power and easy size reductions; Also available with MDF/Fiber stiles


Panel Types

Each molded door model features a specific panel type – either raised or flat. The raised panel can be textured or smooth while the flat panel can only be smooth.
