Fypon’s rafter tails are a great way to add a decoration to your home. They feature a rough sawn cedar grain that is so realistic it is hard to distinguish from wood. Available in three profiles, the rafter tails include a primer but can be painted or stained to complement the home’s architectural details. The rafter tails are made from durable polyurethane making them lightweight and easy to install.

The rafter tails were designed to fit over 2” x 4” structural lumber to protect the lumber against the elements.
The part number for the rafter tails is BMRTFFWXHXPP where:
- BMRT = Beam Rafter Tail
- FF = Profile (SC – scroll, SL – slant, ST – straight)
- W = Width
- H = Height
- PP = Projection
Backed by a lifetime limited warranty, Fypon products won’t warp, crack, rot or split, saving future replacement and maintenance. There is no stain or paint prep saving time and labor during installation. It is recommended to use Loctite PL Premium Adhesive (Part Number ADH1) as a bonding agent to the exterior or interior surface, followed by screwing or nailing to securely fasten for polyurethane products
