Commercial Miscellaneous Accessories

In the area of commercial doors, a variety of accessories can be employed to enhance functionality and aesthetics. These additional components serve multiple purposes, from improving security and ease of use to reducing noise and ensuring proper installation.

Filler Plates

Commercial doors and jambs are often pre-prepped for hinges and strikes, but sometimes these prepped areas are not necessary. In such cases, primed steel filler plates can be attached to fill the gaps.

Stops and Silencers

Stops play a crucial role in preventing doors from swinging too far when opened, and they can be attached to either the door or the floor. The choice between a wall stop and a floor stop depends on factors such as the floor material and personal preference. For concrete floors, a wall stop might be preferred for easier installation. Additionally, silencers are used to minimize the noise generated when a door closes.
