1. It takes two to tango
and we have the best Molded Door partner. All of Reeb’s molded doors are purchased from Steves and Sons. Building quality doors for over 155 years, Steves will continue to be Reeb’s supplier.
2. What’s in a name?
If we call a Molded door by any other, it will look just as great. Reeb is changing all our Molded door names to be Reeb names.
3. It’s as easy as 123,
so let’s keep the CON. To help keep the naming transition simple, Reeb will continue to use the same 3 or 4 letters at the beginning of each name. For example, the CONtinental will transition to CONnelly.
4. When one door closes, a new door always opens.
We will no longer stock the Princeton door style, but we are excited to bring a NEW four panel door with Cove and Bead sticking – introducing the Keystone!
5. Times change. People change.
And the sticking on two of our two-panel doors are changing. The Cambrian and Connelly will now feature a cove and bead sticking, a change from the current ovolo sticking.
6. Some things never change,
like the layout of the Cambrian. While the Cambrian’s sticking is changing, it will continue to be the same layout as the current two panel square top door, the Cambridge.
7. Layout changes are hard to handle,
but Connelly’s layout change is good. The layout for the two panel round top will now have a lock rail that centers on 36”, the standard height for a lock prep. This is in contrast to the Continental’s layout where the lock rail is not centered.
8. The more things change, the more things stay the same.
While the Cambrian and Connelly are getting a mix up, we are excited to share that no other door layouts or sticking profiles are changing.
9. Reeb can maintain an extensive inventory
with over 1,000,000 square feet in warehouse space and that sure is a lot of doors. Our in-stock catalogs showcase the inventory we have so you don’t have to walk down each aisle.
