Schlage Encode

The Schlage Encode is a smart lock that allows homeowners to control their lock using their smartphone, Amazon Alexa, or Google Assistant. It uses Wi-Fi to connect to their home network, meaning they can control it from anywhere in the world, as long as they have an internet connection. The lock itself is battery-powered, so they don’t have to worry about running wires to the door, and it fits on most standard doors.

The Schlage Encode is very easy to install in just a few minutes. Once installed, download the Schlage Home app on a smartphone to control the lock remotely or use Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant to control the lock using voice commands. For example, say “Alexa, lock the front door” or “Google, unlock the back door.”

One of the most useful features of the Schlage Encode is the ability to create unique access codes for different people such as the kids, housekeeper or dog walker. The codes can expire after a certain amount of time, and there is a log of who has entered and exited the home, One of the biggest concerns people have with smart locks is whether they are safe and secure. Schlage has taken several measures to ensure that the Encode is as safe as possible.
