Barn Doors

Barn Doors are a particular design of door that reflects a more rustic approach to the door panel. It’s commonly hung as a sliding door with barn door hardware. This is hardware that is mounted to the surface of the wall and requires a track and hardware that’s placed on the door surface or top edge. Barn door hardware comes in a range of options and colors from Goldberg Brothers.

Barn Door Orientations

Barn Doors have certain designs to them. Reeb stocks the “Z” style and “K” style. Due the diagonals on each door, they are considered handed when placed in a prehung and to correctly hang the door in a frame, the orientation of the “letter” needs to be specified. This means we need to call the door as “readable” or “reversed” from the stop or hinge side of the door.
