The panels are 25% wider in a premium fiberglass door than a standard fiberglass door; because of their architectural proportions, any glass in a premium fiberglass door is 10% wider to welcome more light into the home.
They feature an exclusive collection of decorative glass families which are distinctive designs that you will not be able to find anywhere else. Lite frames are made with the same material as the door to blend seamlessly with the rest of the entry way when stained or painted. All sidelites are flush-glazed for a consistent appearance while all clear glass options are Low-E providing long-term energy efficiency.
The edge of a premium fiberglass door is solid hardwood to give a genuine wood appearance while a standard fiberglass door has a bullnose edge profile similar to other fiberglass doors which detracts from the authentic real wood look. The skin a premium fiberglass door is taken directly from a real wood door using AccuGrain technology. The realistic wood grains are virtually indistinguishable from high-grade woo doors. The embossments on a premium fiberglass door are crisper and deeper as well.
