A Public Access Sill is an aluminum construction to resist corrosion. The sill is only 1/2″ high with a 1:2 ramp slope to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. Public access sills are able to be used for either an inswing or outswing application. It is recommended that all outswing units use NRP hinges.
For best results, units with a public access or ADA sill should be used in a protected opening.
