Doors units that include a double bore for deadbolt should include an additional jamb prep to account for the deadbolt latch. That latch prep is brand dependent. Reeb’s stock of Schlage B series deadbolts include both the Standard Latch (DBM Prep) and the Security Strike plate (DBMWD Prep). It should also be noted, units requiring a certified DP label have been tested with the Schlage B 60 Series deadbolt installed with the Security Strike Prep.
