Door Viewers

Door viewers, also called peepholes, consist of a lens and cylinder which is inserted into a door, allowing a view outside. There are two types of door viewers – a standard door viewer for raised panels and a narrow door viewer for flat panels.

Standard Door Viewer

The 1756 Door Viewer has a one-way 185 degree view. It needs both a 9/16” hole and a minimum 1-3/8” thick panel for proper installation. This Door Viewer is tamper resistant and carries a 90-minute fire rating. The standard location for this Door Viewer is 60″ from the bottom of the door. It is available in the following finishes:

Narrow Door Viewer

The 619 Door Viewer has a one-way 160 degree view. It needs both a 1/2” hole and a minimum 11/16” but up to a 1-1/16″ thick panel for proper installation. The 619 Door Viewer is designed for use in Flat Panel Doors and other doors with thin panels. This Door Viewer is tamper-resistant and carries a 90-minute fire rating. The standard location for this Door Viewer is 60″ from the bottom of the door. It is available in the following finishes:

  • US15 – Satin Nickel
  • Antique Bronze
